The BCR-ABL Fusion Gene Detection Kit is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for the quantitation of BCR-ABL1 (fusion transcripts type e13a2 and/or e14a2) and ABL1 transcripts in total RNA from whole blood.
Results are only represent the test results of BCR-ABL1 p210 fusion gene (fusion transcripts type e13a2 and/or e14a2), which can be used for clinical diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), and monitoring of treatment with Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKIs).
The Kit is intended for use by medical professionals or trained operators who are proficient in performing tests and trained clinical laboratory personnel or individuals trained in point of care settings.
The clinical management of patients should be combined with their symptoms/signs, medical history, other laboratory tests, treatment response and epidemiological information.
