Intended Use

The kit is intended for the in vitro qualitative determination of Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) IgG/IgM antibody in human serum, plasma or whole blood. Testing is limited to supplementary detection indicator for suspected nucleic acid negative results or in conjunction with nucleic acid detection in the diagnosis of suspected cases. It should not be used as the basis for diagnosis and exclusion of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia. It is not suitable for general screening.

Test Procedure

1. Specimens should be collected by standard protocol.
2. The whole blood specimens can be anti-coagulated with routine dosage of heparin (9.8 -28IU/mL), sodium citrate (3.8%, equivalent to 129mmol/L), ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) (4.55mmoL/mL ± 0.85 mmol/mL).
3. Do not use any hemolyzed blood and chyle specimens to avoid misjudgment.
4. Samples that have been contaminated with microorganisms cannot be used for testing.
5. The serum / plasma samples to be tested should avoid multiple freeze-thaw procedures. They could be stored at 2℃~8℃ for 3 days, and could be frozen below -20℃ for 6 months. The Whole blood samples cannot be stored frozen. If they cannot be detected in time, they can be stored at 2℃~ 8℃ for 3 days.
6. Serum, plasma, and whole blood samples: Frozen specimens must be taken to room temperature prior to testing, completely thawed and mixed well before testing.
7. Remove the detection card and the dropper from the pouch and place the detection card on a clean and level surface.
8. Mark the detection card with specimens’ number.
9. Add 10 μL( 1 drop with the dropper) serum/plasma/whole blood samples to the sample hole on detection card. Then immediately add 80µL of sample dilution buffer (approximately 4 drops).
10. Start the timer and read the results in 15 minutes.
